Andrew Bridgen's long struggle to have a debate in the House of Commons about the excess deaths scandal has finally been achieved. On Friday afternoon the Reclaim MP for North West Leicestershire stood up and spoke for about half an hour to a House with just fifteen members present. That was infuriating and disappointing; but what was inspiring and encouraging was that when he begins his speech and when he ends it you can hear a huge cheer from a crowd of supporters outside in Parliament Square; they were obviously watching it all on live TV.
