Underwater Pyramid found at the Azores (Banned on Blogger)
A pyramidal structure has been discovered on the seabed near the Azores islands. The structure looks artificial and is similar in size to the Pyramids of Egypt, see: http://beforeitsnews.com/beyond-science/2013/09/giant-underwater-pyramid-found-near-azores-island-associated-with-atlantis-portuguese-navy-investigating-2443658.html. An investigation by the Portuguese Navy has failed to yield any conclusive results other than declaring that the object is not a hazard to shipping. It will take further study by trained professionals to find out if this structure is man-made or not; and if so, when it was built. The first thing to do is find out when the seabed where the object stands was last dry land; this will give it a minimum age. The question is whether any institution with the resources necessary has the will to take up this challenge. If not it will be left up to private individuals and organizations as usual.
The Azores are a very interesting place to find something like this because they are in the right location for Plato's description of where Atlantis once ruled. He said that Atlantis lay west of "the Pillars of Hercules" which was the ancient Greek name for the Straits of Gibraltar, ie: in the Atlantic Ocean, hence its name. The Azores are in the middle of the Atlantic and consist of the surface outcroppings of the volcanic mid-Atlantic seamount ridge. However this new discovery is only one of many recent anomalies of man-made artefacts found on the bottom of the sea. Like the Yonaguni Monument:
the Bimini Road: http://www.scribd.com/doc/29530246/Archaeological-Anomalies-in-the-Bahamas-Douglas-G-Richards and the "Cart Ruts" of Malta:
. Many of these constructions are on land that was last above sea level at seven to ten thousand years BC, or even earlier. According to our official view of the past, there was no culture around in that era with the capability to build something like that; such a culture never surfaced until the Sumerian and Egyptian civilizations beginning about three thousand BC. I'm sure many alternative archaeologists will be flocking to the Azores right now! I can't wait to find out what they discover; rest assured I will report their findings on HPANWO Voice.
